Juice stains

1. If the juice is just spilled on the carpet, you should first use absorbent paper to absorb all the water of the juice, then use a cloth block with neutral detergent, lay on it and gently pat; to prevent the pigment of the juice from remaining on the carpet, you can use a cloth block dipped in vinegar water to lay on the pat, you can remove the juice stains.

2. White wine is also a great way to remove carpet stains. If the floor poke is accidentally stained with liquid stains such as coffee, red wine, cola or juice, you can use a dry cloth to absorb the liquid and then mix an equal amount of white wine to sprinkle on the stain and wipe with a dry cloth to remove it.

3. To remove juice stains from carpets, you can use a 5% ammonia solution and wipe with diluted detergent. However, ammonia has a damaging effect on pure wool carpet fibres, so it should be used sparingly, generally with citric acid or soap, or with alcohol.

Soy sauce

New stains can be removed by brushing with cold water and then washing with detergent. Old stains can be washed in warm water with detergent and ammonia, then rinse with clean water.

Wine stains

New stains can be cleaned with water. Old stains can only be removed with a solution of ammonia and borax. If the carpet is made of wool or silk, oxalic acid can be used to clean it.

Coffee stains, tea stains

Wash with ammonia. For silk and woollen carpets, use oxalic acid for 10-20 minutes or 10% glycerine solution.

Vomit stains

One method is to wipe with petrol, then 5% ammonia and finally wash with warm water. Another method is to moisten the vomit with 10% ammonia, wipe with a soap solution with alcohol and finally wash with detergent.

Insect mites

Method 1: Take a thick towel and dip it in water, wring it out slightly and lay it on the blanket, iron it with a high heat iron so that the heat fumigates the blanket to remove the mites.

Method 2: Carpets are a hotbed of mites, especially in the summer months, so it is necessary to remove mites from carpets. There are two ways to remove mites: one is to take 600g of flour, add 100g each of refined salt and talcum powder, then mix with water and add 30ml of white wine to mix and heat to make a paste, cool down and depart in small pieces to scatter on the floor; the second is to soak a camomile broom with boiled soapy water, sweep the carpet with more dust 1-2 times, and then sprinkle salt on it. Both methods are effective in removing mites from carpets.
